If you’re looking to maximise your value for money, I’d suggest purchasing the ‘Echoes of Ruin’ Anthology, or ‘Legacies of Betrayal’ both contains this story and a few others.
This is a very cool story. It’s a ten-minute-long monologue by Horus and is probably the clearest look we get into his head post Isstvan. He expresses his hopes and his doubts, and we see a real vulnerability that he would never normally show in front of others. He is talking to someone, but we don’t find out who until the very end and it’s a pretty cool reveal.
It’s very well written and well-acted audio drama and if you’re interested in Horus or even the Horus Heresy in general, I highly recommend it. This is a very short audio drama so there’s not much to say about it without giving anything away, but I am quite keen to discuss it more in my spoiler review.
